Great Expectation

I'm staring into heaven with my pen and note book drawn
Writing out my destiny from dusk till dawn
He expects me to shock everyone that was doubting me in the begin
And prove to him that no matter what I will always be listening
To my inner thoughts to guide me on the right path
So I won't wander into the vehicle of darkness and crash
Show them that I'm here for a reason and that's to achieve all my dreams
Hopefully I will leave with followers that really believe
And to show the young ones that look up to me that everything is possible
And it's never to late to become a better individual
He expects me to take care of my mother for the rest of her life
I want to be able to show her true beauty through my eyes
Promise that she will never have to stress over petty things again
Make sure she lives her life
He wants me to fall out the sky and see if I can SUCCEED
Am I going to land one my feet and show the world nothing can break me
I know that my dreams are with me and looking down isn't the way to go
Yes is only acceptable, I have no time for no
So till the end I plan on walking on the clouds and writing the truth
Planning out my future and slowly show you what I will do
He told me everything is possible so until they're screaming your name just don't give up your dreams
So the sky is the limit and my family is coming with me
The day when people are clapping and snapping for me is the only thing that is in my vision
So as I step away from my past I step into the future to see what will happen
My goals are clear they're just waiting for me to come out
And share it with everyone so I can hear them scream and shout
There is only one person that I listen to when it comes to my future
And so far I think I've been telling myself everything that I need to know
Forget what everyone else thinks of me I have great expectations to be the BEST...
