There will be no rules tonight, we write our poems to change the world...
Whenever the ink touches the paper we change the future for little boys and girls...
Tonight all the cities come together..
To finally take a chance on one another..
To prove to everyone that we have what it takes...
As youth we take nothing for granted our life is keepsake...
Pen and paper touching is more than just romance...
This is greatness at it's finest our minds are way to advance...
At the stage where I recite my poetry...
The feeling of butterflies begin to take over me...
With every breath that I release...
I gain more Courage to finally speak...
So take my hand as I take you heart and show you a vision that is complete...
After tonight these are the times that you will always remember...
Shouts out to Urban Word shouts out to Voices IN Power...
shouts out to people that didn't believe shouts out to all the cowards...
Nothing is going to stop us now every poem we recite gets louder...
We are hear to rock the stage and destroy all negativity...
Put violence on a stand still and inject your minds with positivity...
Finally it's Our Time To Laugh, to speak out and just enjoy our lives...
Don't be surprised of what you see our hear because I told you we are about to come alive...
It's Our Time Now...
